project life 2013 ct

Here is my PL title page! I wanted to wait until I had a family photo shoot done but that didn’t happen this year so I just used the pics from the boys shoot! I can’t believe my album is almost finished!

As I post these layouts I am excited to share them but sad as this will be my last time featured on Becky’s blog as a 2013 Creative Team member! I have really enjoyed being a part of this team and I am almost finished 2013 and can’t believe that I have all my personal photos edited and PRINTED from this year. That is the beauty of project life though. It is manageable and adorable at the same time! I can’t say enough good about Project Life and hope you will try it out if you aren’t already. I am planning on sharing parts of my memory keeping process through the next year and hope to update with LOTS of new photo shoots that I have yet to post! I am truly inspired by project life and believe it really is the answer to how to find the
balance of living your life and capturing it at the same time!

Thanks so much Becky!!

Simple Things Sunday

Just a few pics from the parade this summer. I love watching my boys filled with anticipation as each new float or fire truck comes around the corner. I couldn’t believe how much candy they were thrown this year. My Grandma Betty even brought money for them to put in their bags!

simple things sunday

We went on so many fun adventures this summer. One of the boys favourites was visiting the Jurassic Forest in Edmonton, Alberta. It was a beautiful outdoor park with 2 trails through the trees with dinosaurs hidden along the path. The kids had a blast running from one dino to the next. In the middle of the two paths was a big sand park with brushes for finding dinosaur bones. It was such a great way to spend the afternoon with our cousins and enjoy the summer sun right before school started!

PROJECT LIFE 2013 CT WEEK 12-13-14

I know it’s been a while since I have posted my project life layouts. I am excited to share these 3 with you! I will post more through the coming weeks:)In week 12 -13- 14 we were challenged to use only our PL kit and nothing else! I was dedicated for the first two and even used all handwriting. I could not believe how quickly the pages came together! I can see now how people put together an album in a weekend!!

still here

Hello there-

If anyone is still out there! I feel like Blogland is pretty quiet lately. I am sure everyone is out enjoying what is left of summer. I have been chasing these two kiddos around and loving it! We have enjoyed a few family reunions and lazy days at the lake.

I have many project life pages to post but I am catching up my pages so they aren’t quite ready . They will be soon though and I have a handful of photo shoots that I am dying to share as well.

If you would like to keep up with what we are doing please request to follow me on instagram.

I am always looking for new friends to follow and be inspired by too!!

09/08/2013 - 9:19 am

09/08/2013 - 7:35 am

Colleen - so true isn’t it? very quiet out there. I love IG. Requested you. I’m justcols. Have a nice weekend!

week 11: embracing orange!

I haven’t always been a fan of orange but lately I am loving it! I think that my love for the color coral has really brought me around to accepting the boldness of orange. We were challenged to use only our kits this month and it was way easier than I thought it was going to be. I did end up cheating just a tiny bit and using my computer for some journalling towards the end of the month because I was sick of my handwriting! I used to love my handwriting in high school but now that I am not really writing any biology notes lately I am a little out of practice and it looks different every time I write something!

It did remind me how easy and simple project life can be. The kit, your photos, a corner rounder and a good pen! That’s all you need!! ┬áThis weeks photos were definitely everyday shots. Gray learned to ride his two wheeler with out the training wheels, we played outside whenever the rain would stop for a few minutes and the boys rediscovered their superhero capes.

Momma C - Cute pages Ash! Your pictures are all so good and I especially love the color combo you used.
